The hacking scandal

The former chief executive of then news international Rebekah Brooks has been fired and been given 3 million dollars to maybe keep quiet about the phone hacking scandal  but she probably won't considering she got arrested. Brooks the 43 year old CEO was arrested at noon Sunday. She is suspicious the eyes of the government because of her former job. Rupert Murdoch and his son James Murdoch have accepted to answer questions about the phone hacking scandal. Brooks, one of Rupert Murdoch's best workers said that she has nothing to do with the hacking, right now up to 3700 people have been known to have been hacked. 

The rise and fall of Rupert murdoch

The ever so powerful Rupert Murdoch is getting his power drained from him.
A company he owns has hacked a lot of people, celebrities and they even have the guts to hack the royal family. One of the families they hacked was the Soham family who just lost two daughters, they hacked their phones just to get their last words to see what happened before their deaths and this shocked the whole of the U.K. because the family just lost two daughters, if that's not bad enough Rupert Murdoch's company hacked their daughters phone's and stole their dying words(with voice mail).
Theirs three things people in this world want POWER, MONEY, SEX and right now Rupert Murdoch has all of them because he has around 1-20 billion dollars and can get a wife or a hooker any time he wants but the thing he has the most is power because he owns so much companies like 'The Sun' and 'The Times' and '20th century fox', with these newspapers on his side  he is aloud to say anything he wants and the government can't stop what he says because the media is more powerful than the government. 
The hacking scandal has hacked all the phones of the people who died in the 9/11 incident. The very powerful Rupert Murdoch and his son James have accepted to answer M.P's questions about the hacking and in the mean time Rupert Murdoch is desperately struggling to keep his power. Rupert Murdoch might sell all of his newspapers. Right now Rupert Murdoch has lost 7 billion in just 4 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hacking scandal

Research is finding out information about something or someone a person is interested in or is looking for.

One research method that could be used are using the Internet e.g. Google, Wikipedia.A person could use the internet to get some 
information about a subject.
Another research method that could be used is an Investigation. Investigations are mostly used to solve a crime and sometimes even mysteries.
Another research method that is used a lot is books. If people wanted to learn about history and Shakespeare they could look at books about him in a library.
Primary research:Is when a person finds something out about someone or something firsthand.
Secondary research:Is when a person searches up something about someone and gathers information secondhand,(not finding it out for himself)e.g. using the internet and using books. 
Quantitative research: It is finding out numerical data like date of birth of someone or the date a certain event happened or the age a
certain person died at.
Qualitative research: It is finding out information about word data. E.g. looking at paragraphs about a certain persons life or information about a book.
Wikipedia is a qualitative, secondary and quantitative because it gives out information about a certain subjects data. E.g. if it's about a famous person it would give that person's date of birth, life story and maybe day that person died.

My review of the 'Slumdog Millionaire'

The movie is about three people who live in a poor area in India. The characters names are Jamal, Salim(big brother of Jamal)and Latika (Jamal's love). The movie starts off with when Jamal is an adult and is getting tortured by the police. He has a flashback to when he was just a child, he and his friends were playing cricket when a plane flew over them. Then some guards chased the kids into town when Jamal and Salim run into the local gangster who forgives their behaviour.  They keep on running until they go into an alleyway where they see there mother at the end and stop running. They go home with their mom and then the scene stops, the next scene is about Jamal being tortured and interrogated by the guards asking him how he cheated.    

I think they could make the movie a bit better by changing the beginning sequence like instead of starting off with him on the show when he gets occused of cheating then he goes to the police station so the audience know some clue of what is going to happen.

 

Research methods and techniques

0There's a lot of different methods and techniques to doing some research.

Methods: Primary, secondary, qualitative, opinions, attitudes, behaviour patterns, quantitative, memories and there's a lot more.

Primary: You go and do some research yourself like questionnaires etc.

Pros: A lot of sources to choose from/ research from.

Cons: Not all sources are reliable.

Secondary: You find something out using the Internet or a book or searching archives, etc.

Pros: A lot of sources to choose from.

Cons: Not all sources are reliable.

Qualitative: Qualitative research is all about exploring issues, understanding phenomena and answering questions.

Pros: Gives good information,could be reliable.

Cons: Not very much sources to choose from.

Opinions: It's all about thoughts.

Pros: A lot of sources to choose from.

Cons: Not very reliable.

Etc.

Techniques: Using libraries, using the Internet, reading, searching archives, interviews, observations, questionnaires, surveys, focus group, Google, Yahoo. 

Libraries:  Have a lot of books which anyone can read.

Pros: Libraries have a lot of books to research from and very easy to access.

Cons: Library could be far away.
Easy to find the book and information that a person needs.

Internet: Have a lot of sources.

Pros: Easy to access, have a lot of websites to get information from. 

Cons: Some websites could be biased, gives more than needed.

Searching archives:
Pros: Have precise information.
Cons: Could be hard to access.

Interviews:
Pros: There is a lot of people to interview.

Cons: Takes a lot of time.
Etc.

The jackasses 7

  The jackasses!!!

Our movie is about a person who is a total jackass because he is smart but he does stupid things with his friend who is as dumb as him. We are going to use head on shots and dolly shots and also music. Use dynamics. We will use dialogue in this movie but and we will also do some crazy stunts. 

The beginning: Three boys playing with a trolley that they found in Sainsburys. Yaser accidentally falls down off the trolley after the trolley hits a car. Yaser gets up and they laugh as they run away from the site, the boys realize that they forgot to get their pound from the trolley and run back to get their money out of the trolley.The boys run away and a flashback happens to the point where the boys first met.

Then we go to the beginning of when the three met. A boy called Yaser and his friend Fahim who are wondering about in school and see a boy called Ashti(a new guy)who is a smart person however he does do stupid things. He become friends with the other two. They hang out for a bit then plan to do a funny stunt.

They plan the stunt about stealing a trolley from Sainsburys so they say where it's going to be, where and how they are going to do. Ashti:"Yo i am going to do a very fun prank, you wanna join me", they have a chat for about 2 minutes asking about what the prank is, Ashti doesn't tell them, they join Ashti in the prank then he tells them about the prank. Then they go to Sainsburys, steal a trolley and then do stupid things with it. The trolley hits a car, then Yaser falls off the trolley,  they get up, tantrum, graffiti all over the car door then they run away laughing. Ashti commands the other two to stop, they look behind each other, get the trolley, put it into a trolley shelter and run off. 

Scenes

1. EXT. Sainsbury's. Night.
ASHTI is a 15 year old short boy, black hair, brown eyes, yellow skin. FAHIM a 15 year old medium sized boy with a beard, black hair, brown skin, brown eyes. YASER a short 15 year old boy, brown skin, brown eyes with black hair.
The boys play and run around with the trolley, the trolley hits a car , the trolley moves back and falls down.

Camera shows Ashti looking down on Yaser.

ASHTI

Come on, get up, let's scram man!

Yaser gets up.

Camera shows Yaser's left side of his body.

Only Yaser and the trolley are shown in the car park.

Yaser gets up and rubs his bum.

YASER

Ow that hurt, but i am alright.

The camera shows the three boys in shock.
Fahim looks at the camera in shock.

FAHIM

Damn. This is just messed up.

Fahim's body is shown only.

FAHIM
What the hellllllllll!

YASER
 Think the owner will notice.

The camera shows the three boys again.
Yaser looks at the others nervously and slowly.
Ashti with an annoyed look on his face.

ASHTI
Umm well let's see, it's on the drivers door and it's around 56cm by 35cm.
So yeah.

Ashti, Yaser and Fahim run away from the car.

(Blackout happens with the title 'How it all began')

(Ashti says 'How it all began')

2. INT.  School reception. Daytime.

Yaser and Fahim  stand near the elevator in school. Fahim holds a drink in his right hand.

Yaser holds a pizza in his left hand. Ashti walks innocently looking around, turning his head.

Yaser and Fahim look at each other and have a quiet conversation while enjoying their snacks.

Ashti bumps into Fahim and Yaser. Yaser falls down. Fahim struggles to stand up and walks backwards a bit to get balance.

ASHTI

Sorry, i am new guy, nice to meet you.

Fahim moves towards Ashti.
Yaser gets up and moves towards Ashti.
 The three boys stand in front of the stairs. 

YASER

Watch where your going. Man that kinda hurts.

Alright what's your name?

The boys sit down on the chairs and tuck themselves in.

ASHTI

Sorry again, my name is Ashti. You are?

FAHIM

My name is Fahim, he's Yaser. Sorry about that Ashley.

ASHTI 

My name is Ashti, not Ashley, anyway where is everyone?

Ashti looks around nervously.

FAHIM

Everyone's in lesson.

ASHTI

What the heck you doing then?     

FAHIM

Free lesson.

ASHTI 

Does he talk much?

FAHIM

yeeeeeeeeee.

Yaser interrupts.

YASER

Don't talk for me Fahim, i can talk for myself. And yes I do talk much.
Just my momma told me not to talk to strangers.

ASHTI

Alright, I know it's late to say this but nice to meet you.

YASER & FAHIM
 Same. 1, 2, 3, Jinx!

(Super fast)

Ashti laughs
(Blackout happens with the title 'Later  On')                                 

3. INT. Near school library. Daytime.

 The boys gather around a medium sized round white table. They sit down close to each other and look at a white piece of blank A3 paper. The camera is positioned opposite of the boys so that the audience don't see the white piece of paper. Ashti has an evil smile on his face.

 Ashti puts his hand on the left and right sides of the sheet.

ASHTI

I'm going to do something very fun at 'Sainsbury's' and I'm planning for it, you wanna join me?

Fahim is confused and has a nervous look on his face.

FAHIM

ummmm maybe i won't.

Yaser speaks quickly.

YASER

We're in!
What we doing.

Ashti laughs.

ASHTI

I was getting to that. OK this is what we will do, we will do this, that, all of that and that!"

(Ashti points at the white A3 paper randomly repeatedly)

YASER

Let's do this.

The camera shows Fahims face.

FAHIM

I'm not coming.

 Fahim gets up and walks away.
 Ashti grabs Fahim's right arm.

Ashti and Yaser look at Fahim.
The camera shows the three boys again.

ASHTI

Come on man, you got to do this.

FAHIM

Alright, but if we get in trouble, you get all the blame though.

ASHTI

Harsh, but i agree to those terms.
The boys walk away from the library.

(Blackout happens)

4. EXT. Outside Sainsbury's. Night.

The boys are outside of Sainsbury's.

The boys loot at the camera. 

 Ashti has a smile on his face.

ASHTI

Here it is boys, fun time.

The boys walk to the trolleys and grab one.

They try to pull it out, it doesn't work. 

ASHTI
Pound. Come on.
Give it here.

FAHIM

Ain't got none.

Ashti looks at Fahim in shock.

ASHTI

What! Don't you have a pound Fahim?

Ashti looks at Fahim and Yaser.

(Repeatedly)

FAHIM

What for?

YASER

I don't.

ASHTI

Your supposed to have money with you all the time.

FAHIM

I do but I have no change.

Ashti puts his hand on his forehead and shakes his head.

Ashti puts a pound in the trolley pound slot and he slowly pulls it out. 

The boys move the trolley away from the trolley shelter.

(Blackout happens)

5. EXT. Playing with a trolley outside of Sainsbury's. Night.

The boys start playing with the trolley. Yaser gets on the trolley. The boys laugh as they push Yaser. They move away and away from the car park. Yaser(on the trolley) moves towards a car fast. 

Yaser screams for help.

YASER

What the hell! Guys Help!

Fahim and Ashti run after Yaser. There mouths are wide open.

FAHIM

Wait nooo, what you doing! Watch out. Your going to crash with that car. Oh nooo.

ASHTI 

We are in big trouble, quickly stop him!

FAHIM
Damn Ashti, this is so fucked. What the hell.

ASHTI 

Alright hold on to your horses. oh crap.
NOOOOOOOOO!

The boys run towards Yaser as fast as they can.

(Blackout happens)

6. EXT. Playing with a trolley outside of Sainsbury's. Night.

YASER

Shitt! Heeelp man, HELP!

The trolley hits the car and Yaser falls off the trolley. 

ASHTI

Come on, get up, let's scram man!

Yaser gets up.

Camera shows yaser's left side of his body.

Only Yaser and the trolley are shown in the carpark.

Yaser gets up and rubs his bum.

YASER

Ow that hurt, but i am alright.

The camera shows the three boys in shock.
Fahim looks at the camera in shock.

FAHIM

Damn. This is just messed up.

Fahim's body is shown only.

FAHIMWhat the hellllllllll!

Yaser looks at the others nervously and slowly.

YASERThink the owner will notice.

Ashti with an annoyed look on his face.

ASHTI
Umm well let's see, it's on the drivers door and it's around 56cm by 35cm.
So yeah.

FAHIM

Oh shit, what the hell have we done.

 Ashti points at the others with exitement and a smile on his face.

ASHTI
You said we, haha.

Ashti quickly loses his smile.
The boys run away from the car.

Ashti stops Fahim and Yaser from running.

ASHTI
Woah woah woah.

ASHTI

There is an easy way out of this. 

The Yaser and Fahim sigh in relief.

Background sound saying no.

(Blackout happens)

7. EXT. Playing with a trolley outside of Sainsbury's. Night. 

They put a sheet that has 'you got insurance' written
on it on car door on the damage done to the car.

The camera shows the three boys. Fahim has an annoyed face.

FAHIM

This is your brilliant way out.

ASHTI

Got any better ideas?

FAHIM

No but it's idiotic.

ASHTI

Idiotic is better than nothing and i don't want to get in trouble.

The camera shows a A3 sheet with 'You got insurance, use it' in big, bold red letters 

The boys run away from the car. 

Ashti stops the Fahim and Yaser.

ASHTI
(shaking his hands.)

Woah, woah, woah.

YASER and FAHIM

What is it?

ASHTI

My pounds in the trolley.
(BLACKOUT)
 'Later on'  title.


 The owner of the car (Yaser) looks at the A4 sheet.
 The camera shows the back and right side of the owners body when hes looking at his car.
  The camera moves towards the white table in the library and shows what the 'THE END' on the white sheet.
